Marketing Communications Manager

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Brand and Product Marketing at PayIt, the marketing communications manager is responsible for supporting the PayIt team with planning, developing, executing, and measuring communications across print and digital channels including internal and external social platforms. 

This position will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications strategy, including owning and managing employee advocacy and advisor advocacy functions. This role has functional responsibility for curating and posting content to all social mediums and building engagement and evangelism across the broader PayIt team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an effective communicator with a collaborative approach.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3-5 years of professional level experience in marketing communications, social media, public relations work or other relevant experience.
  • Superior communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of current social media marketing techniques, tools, strategies, and resources.
  • Demonstrated successful experience working with media and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience writing/editing social media posts, press releases and articles such as feature articles, blog posts, and/or earned media.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Background working with governments and/or in the software industry.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to shift seamlessly between contributing strategically and leading day-to-day tactical execution; no job too big or too small.
  • Estimated travel required (10%)
