Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager reports to the Global Marketing Director and supports the Sales & Marketing team in the development and implementation of communications initiatives that align with GDT's strategic objectives. This role will work cross-functionally with all parts of the business to deliver a unified message to our employees, partners, and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute both internal and external communication programs.
  • Create and deliver communications content, which may include presentations, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers and/or speaking proposals.
  • Collaborate with the sales and services team to bring to life the success stories of GDT and our partners.
  • Work with the design team to manage brand, ensuring continuity in messaging, style, and information.
  • Edit, proofread, and revise both internal and external communications.
  • Support communications around corporate events.
  • Own and manage Customer/Partner Experience program at GDT's corporate office.
  • Manage and maintain company intranet (GDTConnect), including Marketing's Content Library. This includes working cross-functionally daily to ensure communication alignment across the business.

Essential Skills:

  • Superior writing, editing, proofreading is a must.
  • Confident communicator in both verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to operate in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Driven by deadlines and able to balance this with attention to detail. Responds well under pressures of time and uncertainty.
  • Good interpersonal skills including flexibility and adaptability.
  • Must align with our corporate values and be able to demonstrate them in day-to-day activities.

Work Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience integrating social marketing/social selling into communications campaigns.
  • Experience with B2B and/or IT environment.
