Marketing Communications Manager

Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for enhancing the LEAP reputation, awareness, and industry leadership with law firms across the United States. Responsibilities include creating content for promotional campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and public relations efforts aimed at driving broader market awareness. If you have experience in helping to build a brand through innovative and compelling marketing programs, we'd like to meet you.
This role combines creative development (copywriting and proofreading), internal collaboration, and strategic planning to manage the LEAP marketing messaging across all internal and external channels.
You will join the US LEAP Marketing team consisting of over 15 members that enjoy sharing ideas and are driven to be the best to reach their goals, and they have fun doing it!
Responsibilities
The Marketing Communications Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with marketing team to plan, develop, and execute New Business, Current Clients, Thought Leadership/PR campaigns to create awareness for LEAP.
- Write key company communications, which include the application of standard industry writing guidelines for all written content: web pages, press releases, awards submissions, blogs, whitepapers, ad copy, emails, etc.
- Review and provide proofing/strategic guidance on materials created by other departments. These include webinars, presentations, and direct emails, among others.
- Manage and maintain the LEAP library of marketing collateral including whitepapers, guides, brochures, flyers, videos, etc. for accurate and consistent messaging.
- Assist with the creative process to ensure all content is not only correct but correlates to core messaging across all channels.
- Establish a regular cadence of lead generation/nurture communications designed at moving qualified prospects down the funnel into an active buying cycle.
- Own thought leadership and content marketing calendars across digital, events, PR, media, etc.
- Collaborate with industry experts, clients, advisors, journalists, and others to establish LEAP as an industry leader.
- Focused efforts to place LEAP US into relevant media outlets to highlight our thought leadership capabilities.
- Track ROI across owned channels such as the blog, PR, and webinars.
- Be the voice of our written brand throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Elevated writer with the ability to craft compelling and cohesive stories.
- Hands-on experience with web and SEO content, ad copy, email, digital, and event marketing.
- Comfortable using technologies including Pardot, Salesforce, Drift, Trello, Dropbox, MS Office, and Storyblok.
- Expertise in marketing communications with a strong talent for proofreading.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - you're comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders
- BSc in Marketing, English, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field

- Salary expectations: 85 - 100k (based on location & experience) + bonus incentive
