Job Purpose
The Marketing Communications Manager - INFORMED will manage the marketing operations and communications activities supporting the INFORMED portfolio of supplement certification programmes and drive commercial success through the delivery of marketing and sales ready leads to the global business development team. The role will support online and offline sales across digital platforms including website an social media, publications, events, partner collaborations and sales tools. The role will also develop and support the narrative and values of the brand. INFORMED product certifications are part of the LGC ASSURE Sports & Specialised Analytical Services (SSAS) business unit, and more information can be found at www.wetestyoutrust.com
The Marketing Communications Manager will work closely with colleagues from Business Development, Operations, Program Management, and Marketing in both the USA and UK, and will support the continuous development and lead the marketing strategy across all business channels. The role will be responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening our brand identity and effectively launching new products. The role will be commercially astute, creative, data-driven, analytically-minded and have an ambition to support growth in a fast-growing business.
The role will report to the Global Senior Brand Manager - Proficiency Testing / Sports & Specialised Analytical Services, and will have direct line management responsibilities for an existing 2 person marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
- To create and execute regional marketing strategies to build awareness and reputation of company brands/products across both on-line and off-line channels.
- To develop and utilise customer insights to actively drive repeat and increased revenue from existing customer base.
- To develop timely campaigns with rich multi-media collateral that resonate with key audiences and develop new leads for commercial growth.
- Developing strategies designed to generate qualified leads for key brands and products with a focus on designing and implementing automated lead nurturing programmes that increase engagement, conversion and sales.
- To deliver go-to-market strategies for various products including positioning, messaging, identifying the key audiences against given targets.
- To put in place the required reporting and measures to track ROI.
- To build and maintain strong relationships with the global business development team, external vendors, delivery partners and marketing agencies.
- To successfully manage and develop the INFORMED marketing team.

- Overall company revenue and EBITDA performance.
- Marketing campaign statistics (open rate, click throughs, nurturing).
- Number of sales ready leads per campaign.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
- International marketing experience with a proven track record of delivery and target achievement.
- 5+ years relevant marketing experience, with deep knowledge of integrated marketing communications, including digital, strategy, execution, creative, production and reporting.
- 5+ years marketing experience, with demonstrable experience leading and managing digital campaigns and driving tangible business results.
- CRM and analytics package experience.
- Experience managing external agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, but also highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Strong experience in measuring and reporting on campaign activity, measure ROI and determine quantitative metrics. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English.
- Able to navigate through a complex and global organization with intricate and highly targeted marketing campaigns.
- Competency in managing regional integrated marketing budgets - across multiple markets/campaigns.
- Proven analytical acumen and strong results orientation.
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or an advanced degree in business or marketing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of the supply chain assurance industry desirable.
- Experience of managing and developing marketing teams would be desirable.
- Drives sales and marketing results and is accountable for continuously driving improved performance, leading change and ensuring high standards.
- Ability to interface effectively with diverse clients (internal, delivery partners, professional partners, media) and build strong relationships.
- The ability to effectively communicate with senior level and middle management colleagues.
- Ability to think strategically, understand business risk and apply creative problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with ability to make/contribute to recommendations, prioritize, manage and track multiple projects.
