Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As our Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for Marketing Communications strategy and execution for both global Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and the local US Marketing Organization (MO), with a goal to drive target market awareness and customer engagement, demand generation, and ultimately sales growth. The position will also manage a team of content creators who will support campaign development and execution. Responsibilities will also include:
- Managing the AutoChem SBU Marketing Communications Team and their activity to continually build global market awareness and lead growth, as well as the AutoChem MO plan and related MarCom activity for the US.
- Working closely with colleagues in Mettler Toledo's Group and Lab Division teams to ensure a high level of integration and consistency with initiatives, guidelines, and policies, and act as the point of contact for the Lab Division.
- Collaborating with the Head of Marketing to define and develop the complete AutoChem marketing experience by determining positioning, developing messaging, and creating content for all internal and external communications.
- Creating high value content to support global marketing campaigns, including online seminars, whitepapers, brochures, videos, and web content. Managing SET content and structure to be of high value to drive utilization by field sales teams.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related science field and 5 years of experience in developing marketing campaigns for a scientific audience, or, 10 years of experience developing marketing campaigns for a scientific audience.
- Knowledge of content creation as well as delivery and execution.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of copywriting and the ability to direct and manage the content creation and structure, defining, and proofreading of whitepapers.
- Experience in scientific/technical environment.
- Comfortability with 10-15% periodic travel for sales meetings and marketing events.
