Develops and executes comprehensive strategic marketing communications programs for Federal Reserve Financial Services. Leads efforts with a digital-first, data-driven approach and strong project management skills. Strong team player who builds positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
We are seeking an individual to manage marketing communication programs in support of high-profile FRFS business lines, interfacing with subject matter experts and developing and executing internal and external messaging. This individual will also lead and coordinate ongoing activities related to crisis communications.
The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This position does not have direct reports.
Your Responsibilites
  • Develops and executes content marketing strategies on all channels (owned, shared, paid, earned) in support of marketing communications plans that leverage data-driven approach that continuously optimizes campaign effectiveness
  • Ensures appropriate crisis communications messages are customer focused and supports steady-state processes to ensure timely, effective deployment of messages
  • Supports efforts to identify industry trends in digital marketing and payments topics and determines impact on content marketing program
  • Partners with market research, analytics, customer support and sales to align on customer needs and customer experience
  • Builds communication project plans, coordinates content reviews and approvals, proactively manages the process to meet deadlines
  • Plans and executes customer engagements via emails, webinars and events (logistics and materials)
  • Develops project status reports/campaign reports related to marketing campaigns
  • Builds positive relationships with internal stakeholders

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital content strategy, corporate communications, B2B marketing principles and practices
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to synthesize complex topics and information
  • Excellent presentation and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a highly complex, fast-paced agile environment, geographically diverse, and matrixed organization
  • Demonstrates aptitude to leverage relevant technology and software applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Independent thinking, objective analysis, and decision-making abilities

OTHER/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability and willingness to provide occasional afterhours/weekend communication support
  • Must be willing to travel up to 5% of time
  • All Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and receive a booster shot within 30 days of being eligible to do so, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
