How you'll make a difference:

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for day-to-day management and coordination of projects and deliverables required for various product launches, campaigns, company events, tradeshows, shoots and special projects. This position utilizes critical thinking skills in time management, digital & print workflow processes, creativity, scheduling, proofing copy, and project management. This role also serves as the conduit between Marketing Services and other functional groups, such as Product Marketing, to ensure all teams are on point to deliver the creative, marketing, and communication needs identified by the overall strategy and company objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage project workflow from beginning to end across departments
  • Assess initial requests for information, project parameters, priority, scheduling, and creation of all deliverables against established deadlines and brand marketing strategy
  • You will "own" the projects once they are assigned to you and will be responsible for creating a development plan, timeline, task assignment, and maintain active communication between all stakeholders regarding status and due date. This role will require keeping all parties accountable for completing their part, so quality execution of each project occurs
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Communicate all risks associated with a project and provide resource solutions as needed
  • Manage vendor relationships and communication, including but not limited to freelancers, animators, translators, photographers, and videographers, regarding deliverables and invoicing
  • Support budget management for projects including outside vendors and print
  • Project manage marketing and creative projects including but not limited to printed collateral, digital graphics, animation videos, photoshoots, patient brochures, social media content, and advertisements, ensuring that all projects are running smoothly, on-time and on budget
  • Support reporting and ROI capture on projects where applicable

  • Ensuring the marcom/creative process supports effective communication and collaboration across all relevant areas while finding opportunities for improvement
  • Proactively and positively approaching all challenges in a timely manner while identifying obstacles prior to team members being impacted
  • Provide general assistance to the needs of the department as directed and perform other duties as a team player

Who you are:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years' experience of MarCom project/ program management
  • Self-starter with independent decision-making abilities
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Requires the ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities
  • Strong time management with prioritization, multi-tasking, customer service
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize, and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic, desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to produce creative solutions within tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand and embrace the Company brand and culture
  • Ability to influence with excellent written & oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (If any)

  • Design software (Adobe Creative) familiarity
  • Website and App platforms familiarity

The anticipated salary for this position for an employee who is located in California is $69,000 to $80,000 per year, plus bonus, and benefits. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect the pay scale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
