If so, we have the following opportunity for you as the Marketing Communication Manager, located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Summary:

As the Marketing Communication Specialist, you will report to the Director of Global External Communication and be part of the functional Communications Team. You will be compiling, drafting, editing and distributing standardized messaging based upon the Corporate Brand Guidelines and AP Style. You will track a wide-array of processes within the marketing communication function, including but limited to internal and external approvals of press releases, as well as trademark and website domain application, registration and renewal cycles.

As the Marketing Communications Specialist, you will learn about Allison products, operations, end-markets and growth strategies, with the opportunity to enhance marketing communication in support of these areas.

Responsibilities:

• Draft web and social media content
• Draft, layout and distribute email newsletters
• Track earned media opportunities across the Globe using ASANA project management software and support compilation of coverage reporting
• Track global website domain ownership and renewal process
• Track trademark registrations and fulfill renewal requirements
• Standardize PowerPoint presentations

Experience:

Entry level - You are an enthusiastic self-starter who seeks opportunities for continuous learning and challenges the status quo. You are fluent in AP Style and write using correct grammar and punctuation.

Educational requirements

• Minimum Education - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or equivalent.

Required skill sets

• Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Enthusiastic and positive
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Graphic Design (Adobe Suite), photography, videography - not required but beneficial
