Job Description

Rockwell Automation is the world's leader in industrial automation. We combine the imaginations of people with the potential of machines. We love taking complex, highly technical hardware, software, services and solutions and making them easy to understand. We believe telling a story on how our offerings solve business problems is more impactful than marketing a list of product features. We believe in targeting audiences to move customers along their buyer's journey. We believe in continuing the customer journey after they purchase from us. We believe what we say and what we do must always match. We believe in the power of marketing to build excitement, reach new audiences, grow our business and create unique branded experiences.

You will be a marketing evangelist internally and a brand ambassador externally. You will be a critical thinker and a positive influencer. You will help shape Rockwell Automation in the eyes of our customers.

As a Marketing Communications Representative at Rockwell Automation, you will be an integral part of our marketing team, collaborating closely with Americas Lighthouse, a renowned organization dedicated to assisting manufacturers in constructing new facilities within North America. Your primary focus will be developing compelling presentations for our sales team, and content that can be amplified targeting key contacts for prospects and existing accounts that are building new facilities with the objective of positioning our solutions and generating demand for Rockwell services, software and hardware. Create engaging and persuasive content, including written materials, graphics, and multimedia elements, that effectively communicate the value proposition of Rockwell Automation and its solutions.
  • Ensure that all communication materials align with Rockwell Automation's brand guidelines and messaging, while incorporating the offerings of our partners and acquisitions to deliver a unified message to the client.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and business development, to gather information, obtain feedback, and ensure alignment in messaging and objectives.
  • Connect the content produced by Rockwell partners to integrate their value proposition into Rockwell branded material, ensuring branding complies with both companies guidelines.
  • Work with Rockwell agencies to ensure execution of programs.
  • Provide guidance and training to the sales team on presentation best practices, ensuring consistency and professionalism in client-facing materials.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, maintaining clear communication, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality materials.

Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to incorporate various brand elements into marketing materials while maintaining consistency. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
