SUMMARY :

The Marketing/Communications Specialist is a part of the Corporate Marketing and Communications Team and is responsible for supporting the delivery of professional and seamless internal communications and events. This person will generate creative and engaging content, assist in planning and executing company events, and help coordinate internal comms campaigns to support business strategies and the culture of 84.51°. This will be a Hybrid role and will require some time in our Cincinnati office. *Upon application, please include a writing sample of 500 words or less in place of a cover letter.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist in creating and delivering internal communications across all mediums via writing, graphic design, and video editing.
• Coordinate and support in the delivery of company-wide events (e.g. regular all-company meetings, semi-annual team building day)
• Consult and support key internal stakeholders to deliver communication
• Assist in project management, including managing content calendar, communication metrics and other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE :

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years' experience in corporate communications or corporate marketing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills

Desired:

• SharePoint intranet publishing experience
• Graphic design and/or video editing skills
