Description

Marketing Communications Specialist- Senior

We are looking for a talented Marketing Communications Specialist- Sr. to join our team specializing in B2B Communications/Marketing for our Cummins Filtration Business. Candidates located in Nashville, TN (preferred), but location can be flexible for the right candidate.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Graphic design skills, visual communications channel capabilities preferred. Digital experience preferred (emerging trends, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic, advertising content) .
  • Experience with a global organization preferred. Knowledge of and experience using the four P's of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) required.
  • Client/account management preferred.
  • System integration/account management for marketing roles preferred.
  • 6 Sigma, Value Stream Transformation, continuous improvement experience preferred.
  • B2B experience preferred.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Translating Relevant Market Data - Collects and categorizes customer voices and market information by leveraging appropriate research tools and techniques; analyzes research findings to identify opportunities to deliver customer solutions.
  • Channel Awareness - Explains and contextualizes industry structure, dynamics, and path to market in order to advance organizational goals.
  • Marketing Plan Management - Develops marketing mix recommendations based on the 4 P's (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives; guides and influences cross-functional implementation and creates framework to evaluate market responses and business performance.
  • Market Analysis - Research information using meaningful and valid sources and data to expand your knowledge of markets; analyzes findings by connecting dots and identifying trends to create a coherent image of the market; summarizes relevant insights by condensing, prioritizing, and translating how these impact our business.
  • College degree or equivalent work history, at least 3-5 years of experience.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
