Job Description

The Marketing Content Coordinator will work with our Marketing Manager to support the implementation of the marketing and communications strategy to reach business objectives. This includes, but is not limited to, content creation for marketing collateral and event support. A successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment with the ability to prioritize multiple projects . The role will require travel for meetings as needed (projected travel: 30%).

This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is a member of the Lockton Northeast Marketing and Communications team.

Responsibilities:

Marketing:
  • Maintain precise messaging and brand consistency across multiple communication channels and marketing platforms for internal and external communications.
  • Perform writing, copywriting, editing and proofing, and design coordination of marketing materials and content, such as collateral, email campaigns, advertisements and social media content.
  • Develop, coordinate and support marketing content strategy execution for multiple stakeholders.
  • Compile and synthesize competitive information and industry best practices.


Event Management:
  • Participate in strategic planning process to ensure event improvement, creative solutions and quality customer service.
  • Create and maintain event timelines and schedules.
  • Develop and support registration process, including event page build, reporting, attendee correspondence, troubleshooting and post-event analytics.
  • Develop event communications and coordinate design and print needs.


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional marketing experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-moving collaborative team under tight deadlines, shifting priorities and multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, while maintaining a consistent high level of quality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate point of view effectively (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status and deliverables with team members and management, including senior executives.
  • Ability to manage groups of people in a project environment and deliver results on schedule.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and flexible team player.
  • Working knowledge of the meeting/events management industry is ideal.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Eager to learn new technology quickly.
  • Knowledge of events planning software with Cvent, SplashThat or similar registration system experience preferred.
  • Ability to attend company, department and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours, as needed.
  • Legally able to work in the United States.
