Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
This position will work within our Marketing Department to promote Carolina Handling internally and externally working closely with Sales and Operations functions. This position will have significant opportunities for impact to the organization's brand and market presence. A key member of the Marketing Sales team, the Marketing Coordinator provides project management and administrative support, assists with marketing operations and sales support as assigned by the Marketing Team. Works independently on special projects according to agreed timelines and special requests.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the marketing team in implementing tactical programs and events, providing project and administrative support.
- Support the development and distribution of marketing and sales materials such as direct mail,
- e-blasts, case studies, whitepapers, and other editorial content.
- Maintenance of CRM database specific to marketing-generated leads.
- Updates of marketing resources on company website and Marketing Support Portal (MSP).
- Assists with content updates of the company's Intranet.
- Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets, as directed.
- Assists in production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits and other promotional materials.
- Coordination of marketing events, such as community events, expos and conferences.
- Monitor and maintain company's promotional items inventory.
- Interface with internal (especially the sales team) and external customers, along with marketing vendors.
- Manage distribution of New Customer Kits.
- Process and track philanthropic requests.
- Assist with execution of marketing programs promotions.
- Maintain corporate brand/style guide.
- Generate and track purchase orders and invoices.
- Answer general inquiries related to marketing and public relations.
- Maintain digital marketing files, folders, and libraries.
- Maintain files and information for key vendors such as contacts, contracts, and agreements.
- Other support and administrative activities as needed for marketing and sales department

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- 1-3 years of marketing experience
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred; three to five years of experience working in a professional office environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and high level of customer service.
- Experience interacting with outside agencies and vendors.
- Experience using CRM solutions for collecting prospect/customer information.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude as important as experience.
- Adopt a team approach - work with others in pursuing common goals.
- Adept with assimilating and disseminating information in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and judgment to resolve routine issues relating to assigned projects.
- Good organizational skills, and high-level of self-structure producing accurate work with a strong attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to perform to a high standard while working remotely and independently.
