Marketing Alliance Group is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to help us in move to the next level in our marketing efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will be an integral part of implementing a new and updated marketing strategy. We are looking for a self-driven professional who is able to quickly learn our company offering which includes a large variety of services and manufacturing in the retail industry. You should be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics but also possess strong communication and project management skills to keep projects and contractors on task. Initially you will be building our marketing efforts and then moving into sustaining and evolving our marketing efforts.

The Marketing Coordinator works with other members of a sales department and marketing committee to plan, execute and monitor successful marketing initiatives and campaigns. Their duties and responsibilities often include:

• Manage social media initiatives with copy, images, video, and other content. Design and send out marketing content (ie. newsletters, postcards).
• Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and establishing contacts
• Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed - including but not limited to a photo library, portfolio content, case studies, testimonials, and presentation materials.
• Maintain a content library of company information to assist in the RFP process. Collaborate with the sales team and assist with the collection of RFP requirements for professional and timely submittal.
• Update or coordinate the continuous updating of our company website as well as all social media profiles.
• Conduct market research to identify customer trends, and competitor offerings.
• Liaise with creative teams to come up with branding ideas, graphic designs, promotional materials, and marketing copy.
• Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers.
• Continually seeking and researching new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership

Skills and Requirements:

Marketing Coordinators you will use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge to manage your tasks effectively and provide the most comprehensive support to the marketing committee, which can include:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including graphic design, public relations, and advertising, as well as vendors, contractors and freelancers.
• Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Being familiar with project management software is also an asset.
• Good computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data and sharing this information with other team members in project updates. Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must with experience in web page development or graphic design being very helpful.
• Having the ability to provide information on previous campaigns, projects and timelines overseen and implemented in order to continuously grow the marketing efforts.
