Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
The Integrated Marketing Coordinator is a critical and multi-faceted role responsible for supporting the entire commercial marketing team and ensuring flawless and streamlined communication with respect to marketing programming and network communications/initiatives. The Integrated Marketing Coordinator will wear multiple hats within the team to ensure new programs, launches and campaigns are planned, prepared, communicated and executed seamlessly in close partnership with leaders in Brand/Advertising, Promotions, Product Development, and CRM. This role will also be responsible for social media community management in close partnership with the Brand Strategy Director, Guest Relations team, and supporting agencies.
A Day in the Life
- Support critical cross-functional and agency project elements to ensure exemplary execution, such as scheduling, legal and executive approval, and deadline management to exceed guest expectations and drive the business
- Support team on network programming including presentation creation, signage coordination, conference materials/planning, etc.
- Stay plugged into social media follower comments and tagged content across platforms for daily reposting, commenting and driving robust engagement with the brand. Coordinate with Guest Relations or other partner teams for content/responses as needed
- Assess creative/copy job requests within project management software (Asana), assess and gather required/missing detail, schedule and assign accordingly, and map deliverables back to brief to ensure alignment with original goal
- Review and assign incoming Franchisee/network marketing-related questions through FranConnect portal to applicable team members to ensure timely responses
- Support events and PR team in key event planning, preparation, and execution
- Execute quality assurance review of collateral material, online and POS system promotion set up
- Manage organization of key strategy documents, reports, and relevant presentations/data on shared drives and/or project management software
- Assist in scheduling and organizing of marketing brief meetings, strategic planning meetings and brief drafting, facilitating in the development of marketing creative strategy, communication, and campaign messaging.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external partners across all areas of the business
What Sets You Apart
- Experience working cross-functionally within a marketing department or within wider business units
- Experience in or demonstrated understanding of social media channel and community management
- Experience working with project management software (such as Asana, Workfront, Wrike, Monday.com, Trello, etc.)
- Knowledge/understanding of full project pipelines, downstream impacts and various deliverable timelines when working within different marketing mediums (email, website, social media, mobile app, etc.)
- Proven track record of managing tasks beyond individual workload and coordinating tasks across team members
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work, anticipate challenges and proactively solution
- Strong written and verbal communication, and active listening skills
- Must have strong work ethic, problem solving and prioritization skills
- Results driven, strives to make and see a difference
- Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for building relationships and ability to work with people from all levels
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous scenarios
- Strong follow through and follow up skills
- Knowledgeable and skilled in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote and Adobe Suite.)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of related work experience, agency experience a plus.
