POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator role will support the global and US marketing functions in a variety of ways. Comfort with an evolving company and growing team is crucial to this role. Role will report to the Head of Global Marketing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate should have experience in marketing and/or communications in the biotech space. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assist with workshop and meeting planning including agenda creation, logistics, invites, and coordination with participants. Plan and coordinate team meetings including all logistics. Coordinate all agency meetings and be the main point of contact for content / slide development as well as questions and logistics. Take detailed meeting notes and develop action items based on discussion.
  • Lead select initiatives in support of the established commercial strategy and goals. 
  • Support the digital team in agency coordination and project management tasks
  • Assist with the creation of presentations for various meetings, ad boards, etc – creating new slides and utilizing existing where appropriate.
  • Administer the accrual process for the global and US Marketing Teams and assist with the finance process as needed. Ensure all POs are entered correctly, and team understands the process.
  • Partner with all members of the marketing team, which includes US marketing, global marketing, thought leader liaisons, global digital strategy global market insights, and internal creative, coordinating initiatives and communicating with the US field force as needed. Coordinate with marketing leads worldwide. 
  • Organize all marketing materials and be a source for other departments and agencies providing them with various assets/content/etc. as needed. Ensure all files are received from each agency on a monthly basis and stored in an easy to find way. 
  • Carry out all contracting for the team including consultant contracts/paperwork, NDAs, MSAs, sponsorships in partnership with TLL team, etc. in partnership with marketing lead as well as finance/procurement.
  • Work with the operations team to organize all printing for marketing materials.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years communication and/or marketing experience, preferably at a biotech, pharmaceutical company, or pharma agency. Internships at biotech will be considered. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Digital experience a plus 
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, word, and excel
  • Knowledgeable about ensuring adherence to multiple brand standards a plus
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with the ability to prioritize efforts and manage stakeholder expectations with strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation/decision-making skills 
  • Natural entrepreneurial spirit with a strong personal drive and the desire to evolve as the company evolves 
  • Role will travel to select meetings and conferences
