Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
This position provides support to the Marketing and Promotion Departments of Monument Records including general marketing, digital marketing, streaming and sales, publicity, radio promo, market infiltration and creative. This role requires comprehensive communication and coordination between all internal label departments as well as with the artist management teams. Candidates must be proactive, organized, quick to learn, detail-oriented and a have a willingness to serve as a team player.
What you'll do:- Oversee executive travel, calendar, and expense reconciliation
- Book all artist travel surrounding media appearances and album launch events
- Coordinate with finance department to set up new vendors and process invoices in a timely manner
- Coordinate with A&R Admin and Production Teams to ensure timely delivery of all audio and video products with full informational needs
- Hire and oversee label interns each semester
- Maintain and distribute marketing and sales & streaming reports and artist & label calendars
- Assist in event coordination and maintaining guest lists
- Liaison between label and IT for all employee needs
- Manage all marketing assets and distribute as needed
- Administrate day-to-day digital content publishing around releases, videos, announcements, partnerships, tour dates or other significant events on all pertinent platforms that comprise an artist’s online footprint
- Create or manage outsourcing of content needed for the above optimized for each platform including release imagery/banners
- Brainstorm, plan and execute social media aspects of marketing campaignsÂ
- Manage digital content flow (including but not limited to copy, videos, photos, and audio) with artist & artist management
- Manage, monitor and optimize advertising campaigns
- Update artist and company websites with news items, banners, tour dates etc. and manage website re-designs as needed
- Create and execute promo events, showcases, and conferences
- Manage artist press schedules and coordinate getting availability from managers
- Assist publicist in pitching local press, tour press
- Research projects including but not limited to competitive drivers, streaming reports, benchmarks, etc
- At least one year of administrative experience
- A general knowledge of the music industry and all the departments within a label
- Excellent written skills and the ability to match the “voice” of different artists/brands
- Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to transition quickly and seamlessly while always executing
- Strong knowledge of new and changing social media technology
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Next Big Sound, BuzzAngle, Music Connect)
- Creativity and willingness to think outside the box
- Microsoft Office Suite required / Photoshop & iMovie/Adobe Premiere preferred
