Job Description
Diverse Computing, Inc. is seeking a highly enthusiastic and people-oriented Marketing Coordinator to amplify positive word-of-mouth through creative outreach initiatives for the organization. This is a full-time, salaried position, and may include a mix of in-office and remote working. This position would be perfect for someone with a degree in marketing or communications. Candidates will be responsible for creating, tracking, and carrying out marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate would have experience in graphic design (Adobe Suite Illustrator), social media marketing, along with excellent communication skills, content writing skills, and creative thinking.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will:
- Own and manage the annual marketing calendar of events, and regularly track progress, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with the business development team to contribute to the redesign and maintenance of our website
- Assist with drafting, proofreading, editing, and maintaining content for email marketing, social media campaigns, content creation, and advertising
- Implement creative strategies to amplify positive word of mouth and generate organic buzz around our brand
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics, including website traffic and social media engagement, and provide reports on campaign performance to evaluate effectiveness
- Customize, implement, and analyze customer satisfaction surveys
- Design and implement the creation of flyers, business cards, and other conference-related marketing materials
- Assist and support marketing events and conference coordination
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation; provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Assist with keeping inventory of and ordering new company-branded merchandise as needed

- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Genuine passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, and industry best practices
Qualifications
This job might be for you, if you have:
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Graphic design and content creation skills (Adobe or Canva)
- Experience or education in content writing or researching /creative writing
- Social media knowledge
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Wix, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, and SEO
- A desire to pursue a career in marketing
- A creative mindset which allows you to generate fresh ideas, and a drive to execute them
- Email campaign experience
- Experience with photography and/or videography (preferred)
- Event and/or conference planning experience (preferred), or an interest in learning
