How you'll make an impact
As the Specialist, Email Marketing, you'll be crafting the messaging and executing on the communications that go direct to our audiences (clients and providers). Your copy, tone of voice, and content organization will help new clients find the mental health care they need, and help providers achieve their practice goals. In your role, you'll directly impact the way the SonderMind brand is elevated on multiple communications channels. Working closely with our brand and content teams, provider experts, and audience experts, you'll learn what's important to our audiences, and craft and deploy communications to educate, empower and build better health outcomes.
Success looks like
Working with our internal and external partners, you'll build communications (via email and newsletters) that help elevate the brand, connect to audiences, and drive audience response. Additionally, working successfully with our marketing operations team, you'll learn how to deploy various digital communications to a multitude of audiences, and follow along with data and insights that will help guide the success of your digital communications campaigns. Measures of success include, but are not limited to:
- New client acquisition
- Brand awareness
- Site visits
- Increased provider engagement
- Increased audience awareness
What you'll do
- Working with the Manager, Content Strategy, you'll be part of a team who builds the communications for email and digital comms campaigns.
- You'll write copy, build content, and deploy communications vehicles that support audience strategies and brand growth for client retention and acquisition.
- Day to day, you'll evaluate, set up and manage email distribution and work with internal business partners to develop messaging that support the business goals and acquisition efforts .
- You'll envision and bring to life new and innovative ways that creative content can/will connect with new clients and providers, build retention with existing audiences, and drive brand awareness
What you'll bring with you
- 1-3 years copywriting/copyediting experience in digital channels, email preferred
- A knowledge and interest in what makes successful email marketing, including opinions on subject lines, CTAs and A/B tests
- A working knowledge and/or willingness to learn various email deployment systems (Marketo, SendGrid, SalesForce, etc.)
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to get things done
- A creative mindset that brings out-of-the-box thinking to traditional forms of communication, in an effort to drive acquisition and retention goals

Our Benefits
The salary rate for this position is $50,000-60,000 per year. Actual compensation and title is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and variable bonus plan.
