Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
About Clear Street:
Clear Street is building financial infrastructure for today’s institutions. Founded in 2018, Clear Street is an independent, non-bank prime broker replacing the legacy infrastructure used across capital markets.Â
We started from scratch by building a completely cloud-native clearing and custody system designed for today’s complex, global market. Clear Street’s proprietary prime brokerage platform adds significant efficiency to the market, while focusing on minimizing risk and cost for clients. Our goal is to create a single source-of-truth platform for every asset class, in every country, and in any currency.
By combining highly-skilled product and engineering talent with seasoned finance professionals, we’re building the essentials to compete in today’s fast-paced markets.
The Role: Â
Join a small but mighty team to grow the Clear Street brand and tell our story to new audiences across finance and technology. The Marketing Coordinator will help develop and deliver the day-to-day and strategic marketing and communications activities.Â
- Assist with planning, promoting, and executing high-touch, client-facing events and programs.
- Draft communications content including blog posts, thought leadership articles, press releases, awards submissions, scripts, talking points, and whitepapers.
- Coordinate conference and professional organization sponsorships, including managing contract renewals and registrations. Collaborate across teams to ensure connectivity around external events and prepare Clear Street representatives with relevant marketing materials, swag items, and reservations for conferences.
- Support relationships with marketing vendors and third-party agencies.
- Manage swag inventory, including ordering and restocking items, planning client gifting, and preparing swag for events.
- Support the firm’s paid and organic LinkedIn channel, including developing monthly performance reports.
- Manage team administration. Ensure workflow and budget tracking is maintained and track contracts and invoices.
- Problem solve and find efficiencies in ways of working to improve marketing processes and communication.
The Team:Â
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll provide key support to our Marketing team. You’ll help share our corporate message, execute internal and external communications strategy, and build our presence across earned and owned channels. The team is composed of professionals who work collaboratively and creatively to tell unique stories about Clear Street’s seat at the intersection of finance and technology. You’ll work with senior leadership and internal stakeholders on projects across the entire spectrum of marketing and communications.
Requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a concentration in advertising, marketing, communications, or journalism; other majors will be considered.
- Strong academic achievement combined with campus leadership and/or community involvement.
- Previous internship within the marketing industry or related field preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while functioning as a member of a highly collaborative team.
- Foundational understanding of digital media channels and social media posting platforms preferred.
- Excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
- Able to distill complex ideas into digestible, easy-to-follow narratives.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills.Interest in or willingness to learn about the financial services industry and working with B2B organizations.
We Offer:Â Â
The Base Salary Range for this role is $60,000 - 70,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
At Clear Street, we offer competitive compensation packages, company equity, 401k matching, gender neutral parental leave, and full medical, dental and vision insurance. In-office benefits include lunch stipends, fully stocked kitchens, happy hours, a great location, and amazing views.
Our top priority is our people. We’re continuously investing in a culture that promotes collaboration. We help each other through challenges and celebrate each other's successes. We believe that modern workplaces succeed by virtue of having high-performance workforces that are diverse — in ideas, in cultures, and in experiences. We put in the effort to make such a workplace a daily reality and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
