Marketing Coordinator

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement campaigns, organize events, and assist with graphic design tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but other duties may be assigned: 

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns. 
• Assist in the creation of captivating marketing materials, including social media graphics, email newsletters, print collateral, and promotional materials. 
• Coordinate and execute marketing events, such as product launches, trade shows, community outreach initiatives, and vendor partnerships. 
• Manage social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement, to enhance brand awareness and foster community engagement. 
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including creating compelling content, segmenting email lists, and analyzing campaign performance metrics. 
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities for brand growth. 
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to optimize marketing efforts and drive measurable results. 
• Assist with website updates, content creation, and search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure the website remains current, relevant, and user-friendly. 
• Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and managing project timelines. 
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and graphic design. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Will be required to obtain certificates or licenses within 90 days of employment that are required to operate in existing markets. Additionally, will need to be able to obtain certificates and licenses in new markets as needed. 
• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel as needed for business purposes. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Graphic design experience is a plus. 
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field is advantageous. 
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or related role. 
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite preferred. 
• Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is advantageous. 

COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES): 

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. 
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. 
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices. 
• Familiarity with email marketing strategies, segmentation, and analytics. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. 
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional travel required for events and meetings. 
• Exposure to cannabis products may occur.
