Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
General Purpose:
The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to support the Client Services team's mission of driving revenue through innovative approaches to marketing, sales, business development, service delivery, and client experiences. The Marketing Coordinator helps the team to achieve its short- and long-term goals through a commitment to excellence in our work products and services.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the needs of his/her designated region(s), including respective practices groups within region(s). Occasional travel to other office will be required. Responsibilities generally span five areas of concentration as outlined below:
- Marketing:
- Under the direction of marketing manager, prepare marketing/sales collateral for meetings, pitches, and proposal opportunities with prospective and current clients; regularly analyze and review collateral to ensure effective and consistent messaging on practice/industry/geographic and firmwide levels; maintain library of up-to-date collateral.
- Build and maintain awareness of local markets to help prioritize regional marketing strategies.
- Support community relations efforts by developing relationships with community organizations to identify committee and Board opportunities to raise the profile of attorneys.
- Under supervision of Marketing Manager, coordinate, track, and monitor sponsorships and advertising needs associated with office, practice, and industry groups, including tracking expenses to help measure ROI. Create database to track and monitor attorney memberships in professional organizations, e.g., local bar associations.
- Collaborate with marketing manager and communications team to draft and maintain attorney biographies.
- Draft content for website, digital marketing campaigns, event invitations, etc.
- Work with local vendors as required to print tailored marketing collateral.
- Business Development:
- Coordinate with Business Development team to identify research needs and assist with conducting market research and develop competitive intelligence for prospective and current clients.
- Assist Pricing and Proposal Manager to compile content (including drafting new content) to showcase firm's capabilities in formal RFP responses.
- Track progress of RFP responses and pitches using firm's CRM platform.
- Communications:
- Assist with calendaring and developing social media posts.
- Help guide attorneys with LinkedIn posts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and distribute client alerts, invitations, and firm announcements.
- Assist with creation of award, survey, and legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, local award programs such as 40 Under 40, etc.).
- Event Support:
- Work with marketing manager (and firm event manager as necessary) to facilitate and project manage all aspects of events, including webinars, conferences/tradeshows, seminars, client entertainment, client receptions - including maintaining timelines and checklists, venue logistics, invitation development, RSVP tracking, internal communications regarding event, preparing event materials, set-up, booth management, catering, logistics and follow-up.
- Coordinate with CLE team to ensure accreditation of various client-focused learning events.
- Work with Creative Services team to create tailored signage and other collateral for events.
- Coordinate with IT team to ensure AV and communication requirements are fulfilled.
- Coordinate with outside vendors.
- Administrative:
- Coordinate meetings, video conferences, etc., working with office administrator, legal assistants, and receptionists when required.
- Coordinate and process marketing and business development expenses; manage check request process.
- CRM: Ensure CRM data are current and accurate, including tracking BD and marketing activities and managing campaign lists.
- Update experience database to track matter outcomes.

Supervisory Duties (if applicable):
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
- Two to four years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment preferred.
- BA or BS degree required. Focus on marketing or communications preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Office 365 preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work assignments under tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success.
- Team-oriented attitude and commitment to be an active participant in firm culture.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with attorneys, members of the Client Services team, office staff, and vendors
- Excellent project management skills, including being highly organized, efficient, and extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a professional attitude
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

Work Environment:
This position allows for a hybrid schedule, generally in-office 2-3 days per week. Additional days in-office may be required depending on business need and the demands of specific tasks. Every Wednesday team members need to be available to come into the office for in-person team meeting.
Professional office atmosphere. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events. Travel may also be required to firm office locations to support the firm's marketing strategy during the business week, although some overnight/weekend travel may be expected.

Colorado Salary Range - $24.21-$40.36 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
