Summary and Role Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the marketing programs at Ansys, with a specific focus on public relations, field marketing, content focus on the customer reference project, press release process or coverage tracking/metrics.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Ansys marketing initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing which may include any of the following:
    • Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
    • Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
    • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
    • Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
    • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
    • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
    • Conduct market research and identify trends
  • Work on various marketing projects from inception through to completion, spanning across functional groups

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or closely related field or equivalent experience in a marketing coordinator role
  • Prior internship or coordinator experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Prior experience working with marketing-related software (ex. Cision, Vocus and PR Newswire) preferred
  • Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation a plus
  • At least 3 years experience with demonstrated success is preferred
  • Experience working with diverse cross-cultural and cross-discipline teams
  • Experience with managing large volume of project requests
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Familiarity with digital and web-based development processes
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
