What You Will Do
The Marketing Coordinator will be a key support for the marketing team and work across every type of marketing activity to execute and bring marketing campaigns to life. From the digital marketing spaces like the website and social media to the more concrete channels like trade shows and events, you will work alongside the team to craft a vision, execute it, and report on how it went. The goal is always to find creative and innovative ways to talk to scientists, and we need hands-on support to make that happen.
Responsibilities
- Learn about the Biosero market, what excites our scientist audience, and what their pain points are so that you can contribute to conversations about how best to reach out.
- Support the creation of new marketing materials by drafting content, working with vendors to create beautifully formatted final documents, and publishing the final materials. This could be a new brochure, blog post, social post, website page, award submission, or more, depending on what format is needed to send the message.
- Capture photos and videos onsite at the Biosero facilities that can be used to tell the Biosero story and showcase the work we do.
- Support Biosero events by keeping a clear inventory of swag, demo kits, and collateral, and work with the Events Manager and Logistics as needed to ship items for various events. Host on-site San Diego events as needed with support from the rest of the marketing team.
- Keep the website up to date with the latest events, training, and content, and work with our developer to stay on top of any issues that come up.
- Keep our marketing automation tool (Hubspot) and CRM (Zoho) in good working order with a clean database. Take charge of email marketing program deployment, lead uploads, data cleaning, and implementation of new strategies.
- Once a month and as needed, gather marketing metrics and compile them into dashboards that can be used to understand the performance of marketing activities and help us get better at what we do.
- Be a champion for the Biosero brand across all communications.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a marketing or life-sciences related field
- 1+ years with life science products or applications
- Highly adaptable with an ability to thrive in a start-up, rapidly growing company environment
- Strong communication skills
- Skills in the Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Previous experience in Hubspot, Zoho, Salesforce, and/or the Adobe Creative Suite is always welcome
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is $26.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include 401K with company match, Flexible Vacation Policy, Health Benefits, Investment in Professional and Personal Development, and much more.
