Marketing Coordinator Intern

Position Summary

Assist in planning and implementing marketing initiatives aimed to meet company targets for new customer acquisition, retention, growth and profitability. Project management, editing, proofreading, communication and grammar skills a must. This position will work closely with the marketing and art department staff and will report into the Marketing Director. Swank will also assign a mentor within the marketing department.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the marketing and art department to develop and update marketing materials for customer communications, such as brochures, emails, social media posts, newsletters, sales collateral, etc.
  • Partner with Marketing Managers to gain experience concepting with designers on the development of new campaigns, as well as content review, Sales team review, Management review, proofing, etc
  • Perform market research and provide actionable recommendations and creative ideas for expanding outreach.
Professional Requirements
  • Excellent written communication skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proficiency in both business and creative writing. Exhibits superior communication skills, the ideal candidate will be clear, concise, sincere and persuasive. They should also be a good listener showing interest in what others have to say.
  • Demonstrates initiative and creativity in managing workload. Pursues objectives beyond what is required or expected.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
Educational Requirements
  • Pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 3.0 GPA preferred
