Role Overview
We’re seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to support our marketing team with data-driven insights, reporting, and data enrichment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating actionable insights, maintaining data accuracy, and providing detailed analysis to inform marketing strategies. If you have a passion for data analysis, business insights, and Excel, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to analyze marketing performance and ROI, providing insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Data Management & Enrichment: Oversee data hygiene and enrichment processes, ensuring data quality and completeness for effective targeting and segmentation.
- Excel & Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, fuzzy lookup, complex formulas) to slice and dice data, uncover key insights, and suggest actionable initiatives.
- Insight Generation: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization, contributing ideas for strategic marketing initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand their data needs, enhance workflows, and enable informed decisions.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in data processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, data management, or a similar role.
- Proficient in Excel with advanced skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation).
- Strong analytical skills and experience turning data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, and Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to solving complex problems.
