Job Description

The Marketing Data Analyst provides expertise and actionable guidance to management through the analysis of market and banking center operations data, as well as the impacts of industry, financial services, and regulatory trends. Provides information and detailed analysis to guide business decisions. Develops strong working relationships with internal line of business partners to understand business issues, key performance indicators, strategies and plans.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will exercise sound judgment in researching problems, evaluating various solutions, and using data to inform decision making that impacts the Division's bottom line.
  • You will ensure data quality and validation controls are in place to support accurate reporting and mitigate risk associated with inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Employs data visualization/dashboard tools to illustrate emerging trends and KPIs related to specific strategic marketing initiatives.
  • You will be a subject matter expert by researching relevant industry, financial services, and line of business issues to build upon your knowledge and share your insights with the team.


Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired by completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics and 5+ years of relevant professional business experience and/or the pursuit of a Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSF), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies in order to identify common themes and solutions
  • Strong working knowledge in SQL, Power BI Software, Google Data Studio and Microsoft Office
  • Ability and knowledge to develop new analytic methodologies, troubleshoot issues in existing datasets and marketing campaigns.
  • A collaborator who has strong aptitude to collect and analyze information and can communicate solutions to various audiences (technical and non-technical) throughout the organization.
  • Has the ability to design, track, and recommend current and future campaign strategies based on results.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining project schedules that document all phases of a particular project from initial scope, project progress, deadlines, completion to tracking.
  • Self-motivated, highly detailed-oriented, disciplined, and task focused
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline intensive environment.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills to effectively represent self and the Division, as well as the ability to leverage your technical and client facing experience to present complex information and issues in a clear concise manner.
  • General knowledge of financial products and services
