We’re seeking a Marketing Data Analyst who can combine proficiency in analytics research with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analysis and Research, this newly created contract position will be responsible for building a high-profile forecasting model that will support the marketing and revenue teams, as well as optimizing campaigns and sharpening the effectiveness of our business initiatives. This is an in-office position at our offices in Quincy, MA, with the possibility of hybrid scheduling.
What You’ll Do:
As a Marketing Data Analyst, you would play an important role in shaping our business strategies. Many of your regular responsibilities would include:
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources ‌— including customer behavior, market trends, and campaign performance — to provide actionable insights.
Data Engineering: Help our data science team pipe our data from systems like GA-4 and BigQuery into our Snowflake data warehouse and ultimately into our business visualization tool, Domo.
Data Visualization: Build visualizations using the data from our various sources into helpful dashboards that the marketing team can use to track progress and KPIs.
Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
KPI Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing activities ‌— such as ROI, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
Forecasting: Create accurate forecasts and projections for marketing initiatives, including budget allocation and revenue forecasting.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards that communicate marketing performance and insights to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Technology Utilization: Utilize marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, Google Analytics, and other software to extract and analyze data effectively.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree in data science, business administration, or related fields
Experience in data science, business administration, or related fields
Proficiency in data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Domo, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
Proficiency in SQL/Sequel, R and/or Python a plus
Ability to collect, analyze, and report data through multiple channels
Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to work independently and across teams
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
