Your role is a very important one, charged with expansive responsibility impacting all of these functions.
As the Marketing Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to solve complex digital marketing challenges and achieve ambitious growth goals in a forward-thinking, results-oriented environment. The Marketing Data Engineer will help create descriptive and predictive analysis for the Marketing team, develop and maintain processes to move data from source systems into data presentations and, ultimately, data visualizations/analytics platforms.
What you'll do...
  • Develop a framework to facilitate the measurement of marketing functions and attribution
  • Using a variety of analytics, tagging, and digital ad platforms, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of all tracking
  • Collaborate across functions to structure problems, conduct analysis, and drive to solutions through a data-driven process
  • Utilize strong project management skills to create and manage project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate work streams and dependencies, track and communicate progress,identify obstacles and ensure they are addressed, and track and deliver critical marketing system projects and operational projects on time
  • Provide technical and functional knowledge to projects that contribute to overall direction across teams
  • Conduct Q/A tests on a regular basis
  • Using a variety of analytics, tagging, and digital ad platforms, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of all tracking, including developing and documenting tracking plans in line with growth strategies and product hypothesis
  • Manage day-to-day processes between all technical platforms and ensure they work together to produce accurate data
  • Partner closely with the Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Sales teams to provide insights to improve pipeline velocity and conversion rates based on data and analytics
  • Ongoing maintenance and auditing of data including managing data accuracy as well as ensuring data is clean, complete, and organized to enable clear segmentation, reporting and importing/exporting of records
  • Utilize effective written and spoken communication skills for data storytelling
  • Provide the Marketing team with data-based actionable consultation on program and campaign enhancements or opportunities along the entire customer journey, especially on e-commerce and lead generation properties
  • Evaluate and implement additional systems and tools to help optimize marketing's reach

Requirements
What you offer us...
  • 3-5+ years in B2B marketing and demand gen in a SaaS environment with experience in Salesforce platform and automation systems
  • Proven experience managing marketing technology systems
  • Knowledge of marketing operations best practices, digital marketing, email marketing, campaign strategy and management, A/B testing, conversion optimization
  • Ability to thrive in a forward-thinking, goal oriented environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / G-Suite apps / Salesforce knowledge including experience with digital campaign data analysis, macros and advanced formulas, and writing scripts on the server-side and client-side
  • Experienced with Data Layer usage as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to aggregate data and develop takeaways and learnings for future marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Self-starter who can operate proactively to inform and influence others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively across different levels of management

  • Salary Disclosure for Colorado: minimum base salary of $70,000 - $80,000. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate's experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
