Marketing Data Insights Analyst, Casino

About the role

We are looking to expand our Marketing Analytics function by bringing on an Insights Analyst, predominantly focused on the marketing efforts of Hollywood Casino and theScore Casino. As a Marketing Insights Analyst, you will work closely with the Casino Marketing Insights Manager and the Commercial Marketing Team to provide insightful and actionable analysis for the Casino marketing team to provide recommendations on commercial decisions, in areas such as acquisition, retention, CRM, promotional spend, cross-sell and other customer behaviours.

Typical Workday at Penn Interactive

• Build and interpret the suite of daily, weekly and monthly dashboards to identify key areas for deeper dive analysis.
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses on the success of promotional campaigns 
• Proactively identify gaps and opportunities and deliver clear and actionable insights based on performance data, with the ability to assess impact and effectively communicate these opportunities across the marketing team and organisation at large.
• Provide accurate costing estimates for promotional campaigns
• Utilise customer segmentation to improve the understanding of our customer base, and how best to optimise marketing efforts. 
• Implement a commercial and ROI-based approach to marketing insights and proposed activity.
• Work cross-functionally with the product, analytics, finance, legal and compliance teams to ensure effective communication and workflow.
• Regularly present findings to key stakeholders, and work closely with the Casino Marketing Director to come up with strategies that will drive performance across the business, including delivery of weekly and monthly performance reports & insights.

About You

• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, business or other fields with analytical discipline, would be an advantage.
• Data obsessed, not just data driven and with the ability to gather and interpret data.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently. 
• Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate findings to all areas of the business.
• Must have experience with SQL, BI tooling and Excel at an advanced level.
• Strong casino experience/knowledge is highly desired.
