Marketing Development Representative
The role of the Marketing Development Representative (MDR) is to help fill a critical role in bridging the sales and marketing divide to ensure leads and opportunities are quickly and repeatedly followed up on to keep Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Customer Relationship Executives (CREs) focused on converting better, more qualified opportunities.
As a direct contact between potential customers and CipherHealth, this role plays an essential role in engaging with target companies/people that indicate initial interest as a result of our top-of-funnel marketing programs and continuing to educate and inform them with personalized content to make initial contact.
Responsibilities
- Identifying new market opportunities through research and analysis of industry trends and marketplace evolution
- Establishing and building rapport with contacts by offering resources (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
- Communicating to key/relevant personas in target accounts via personalized email, phone calls, social media, and any other tools like LinkedIn, online communities, etc. to gauge interest and opportunity
- Partnering with our experienced SDRs and CREs to execute marketing playbooks and campaigns that build pipelines, support new business, and further develop account opportunities
- Becoming a subject matter expert by researching the healthcare industry and events, publications, and announcements relevant to CipherHealth’s mission
- Maintaining the accuracy of CRM system, providing feedback on marketing campaigns, and documenting prospect pain points and requirements
- Setting up meetings or calls between prospective clients & customers and outside sales
- Promote key content to target accounts, such as events, webinars, whitepapers, collateral, articles, etc, with customized communications.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate skills with CRMs (Salesforce)Â Â
- Minimum 3-5 years experience of sales, account management, or client service experience
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work alongside the Sales and Marketing teams and collaborate with multiple colleagues
- Creative thinker with the ability to do deep research to understand organizations better and identify the best way to reach out and engage
- An understanding of the impact of our products and how we solve our customer's problems
- A genuine and magnetic personality, coachable, competitive, collaborative and motivated
Nice-to-Have

- Healthcare /Hospital Tech knowledge and/or experience
