SonicWall is seeking a talented and experienced leader to serve as our Marketing Director of Demand Generation. As a Director of Demand Generation you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for our cybersecurity organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM), partner marketing, sales strategy, and campaign management. You will lead a team responsible for creating and executing demand generation strategies that generate high-quality leads, engage prospects, and contribute to revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing demand generation team.
o Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
· Demand Generation Strategy:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with the company's overall cybersecurity and partner goals.
o Define target buyer personas and segments for effective targeting.
· Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
o Create and manage ABM programs to identify, engage, and convert key accounts.
o Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop and refine target account lists.
· Partner Marketing:
o Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners to leverage co-marketing opportunities.
o Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns and initiatives.
· Sales Interlocks:
o Foster strong collaboration and communication between the marketing and sales teams.
o Participate in regular meetings with sales leadership to understand their needs and align marketing efforts accordingly.
· Campaign Management:
o Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, webinars, content marketing, and paid advertising.
o Track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
· Content Development:
o Collaborate cross-functionally across the company to create relevant, compelling, and valuable content for demand generation campaigns.
· Metrics, Reporting and Budget Management:
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of demand generation efforts.
o Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on campaign performance and ROI.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
· 12+ years of experience in B2B sales, partner programs and/or marketing
· 10+ years in cybersecurity and technology
· Proven experience in ABM strategy and execution.
· Strong understanding of partner marketing and co-marketing initiatives.
· Demonstrated success in collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue growth.
· Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
· Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
