Marketing Email Administrator
Job Description
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including planning, scheduling, briefing, proofing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (brand and ecomm) to develop email marketing strategies that drive business objective growth, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to build out rolling 3-month content calendars regarding campaign timing, targeting, scope, promotions and results.
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates), identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Create and administer an A/B test calendar, that can quantify the effects of changes made to marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the design team to create and recommend visually appealing email templates and optimize email layouts for mobile and desktop devices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in email marketing, and proactively recommend innovative ideas and tactics to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Foster strong relationships and with global team members, establishing trust and collaboration to achieve shared objectives.

Growing the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channel for HanesBrands, Inc. (HBI) is one of the key pillars of HBI's Full Potential growth strategy. Email marketing is a key tool for driving site traffic and consumer loyalty as a component of this broader DTC strategy. The Email Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing, designing, and executing effective email marketing campaigns for HBI's key US brands. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the daily results that contribute to our long term strategic success.
The ideal candidate will have some prior email marketing experience, but deep experience is not required for this role. This candidate will have a solid understanding of the email channel and proven expertise in building email campaigns.
This is a hybrid position where the candidate will be expected to come in person 3x per week.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in email marketing or similar role
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email template customization is a plus
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for email marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and act upon email campaign performance data.
- Proficient in using email marketing software and tools (e.g., Zeta, Adobe, Klaviyo, Salesforce, etc.) to create, send, and track email campaigns.
- Digital Marketing/e-Commerce experience knowledge
- Cross-functional worker with internal and external teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work on simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Curious self-starter with problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and presentation skills
