Here what they have to say about the position!
What You'll Be Doing:

- Own decision-making and discretion regarding field strategy, event, and campaign selection, with a collaborative approach
- Define the event lifecycle, determine pre- and post-event team commitments, and carry execution through the event
- Manage our events budget, from annual planning through execution
- Attend events across the country as our ‘boots on the ground’ brand ambassador and coordinator
- Research and present new event opportunities serving brand awareness and demand generation goals across three distinct vertical markets
- Build a deep understanding of our audiences and craft a field strategy with tailored experiences and content for those customers and prospective buyers
- Manage event logistics in support of the team: travel, shipping, reservations, etc.—from helping to book space for dinners to making sure exhibits are staffed, speakers are secured, supporting vendors are scheduled out, and every aspect of each event is well-organized
- Track event outcomes, collecting and sharing feedback systematically, and own reporting of demand generation KPIs and ROI
- Raise the visibility of Submittable’s marketing event channel internally
- Project manage all events and campaigns from beginning to end, ensuring they meet the target objectives

- Ability to travel frequently and comply with the company’s travel policy
- Comfort in leading an event channel for a fast-growing company; works best making decisions and executing independently
- Strong organizational skills: long-range planning, communication with multiple stakeholders, wrangling logistics, organizing multiple events within the same timeframe
- Experience orchestrating, organizing, and attending conferences for B2B SaaS companies
- Understanding of event performance targets and goals
- Ability to thoughtfully and frequently communicate across internal and external stakeholders
