Job Description

As a member of the Demand Generation team, the Event Marketing Coordinator will work cross-functionally to help achieve overall lead generation goals via creation, execution, reporting, and follow-up of memorable on-site and virtual events. Our ideal candidate has experience in both live and virtual event production. They must know how to plan and execute engaging events, be technically adept, detail-oriented and cool under pressure.

This role is open to remote applicants living and authorized to work in the United States or Canada. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time. Our core time zone is EST. Twice per quarter travel within the US may be expected.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage logistics for all in-person and virtual events: Coordinate with partners, speakers, conference vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event promotion, execution, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines, project management and marketing processes so that marketing strategies and plans are implemented on brand, on time, and on budget.
  • Manage budget efficiently to ensure resources are optimized.
  • Brainstorm and innovate with new concepts: Research and propose ideas to improve our field and event marketing programs including new initiatives, topics, hosting platforms, event cadence, promotional activities, and more.
  • Maintain the marketing event calendar to ensure that all events are documented and communicated.

Who You Are:

  • Meticulous planner. Event Marketing is so much more than hosting an event. It takes weeks and months of investment in perfection. Always focused on the end goal, you enjoy the overall process and every detailed piece of creating an amazing event.
  • Exceptional communicator. You understand the importance of everyone being on the same page. Whether that means briefing external speakers or aligning project partners down the hall, you thrive on being in the middle of the action and ensuring that everyone around you is clear on the objectives at hand.
  • Perfectionist. Obsessed with details? We are too. Budgets, agendas, participant lists, food and beverage, timelines — the list goes on and on. If you stay awake at night thinking through the intricacies of setting up events with perfection, this opportunity is ideal for you.
  • Orchestrator. We want someone who can prioritize the urgency of multiple requests and work streams to meet deadlines with outstanding quality — while delicately balancing the input of multiple stakeholders.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience coordinating B2B marketing events including tradeshows and webinars.
  • Hands-on execution ability to manage multiple priorities with effective project management, time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate internal leaders/teams across functions.
  • Experience with marketing tools like Marketo, Salesforce, Zoom and GoToWebinar, as well as proficiency using other office productivity applications and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Slack).
  • Self-starter capabilities to take initiative with an optimistic "can do" attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
