Marketing Events Manager

OVERVIEW

The events specialist will manage the brand’s calendar of events, travel to events for execution, and build/maintain relationships with hosting partners. We’re looking for someone who is a strong communicator, highly organized, and can prioritize tasks under pressure. Events require someone who is a fast thinker and can solve problems using the resources at hand. If you love the thrill of events management, this role is for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Execute contracts for the brand’s participation and sponsorship of all events.
• Communicate cross functional information to sales for event execution and staffing.
• Own the calendar of events & manage timelines for proper execution.
• Partner with sales team to best merchandise events based on customers in attendance.
• Travel to industry tradeshows for set up and working events alongside sales team.
• Opportunity for additional travel to conferences and BELLA+CANVAS sponsored events as needed.
• When traveling to events you will act as a brand ambassador – Networking, providing basic information about product and brand, etc.
• Maintain budgets associated with participation, transport, activation and design of all events.
• Communicate regularly with finance and accounts payable to ensure timely vendor payments and any shifts in budgetary requirements.
• Execute regular market analysis to present new event/conference/sponsorship opportunities to Marketing Director.
• Drive relationships with vendors to manage design of event spaces, sponsorships, and activations.
• Collaborate with integrated marketing manager, social media manager, and customer retention manager for tradeshow promotion and follow up
• Manage internal teams to schedule appropriate staffing of events.
• Manage sample needs and ordering for all events.
• Manage our Commerce Marketing team and provide greater strategy for physical event deliverables.
• Responsible for all physical fixtures and marketing materials associated with event production.

The Base Salary Range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for exempt employees.
