Pluralsight is seeking an enthusiastic, meticulous event marketer with a strong background of organization and operational skills to be part of a very fast- paced team. As a positive contributor to the corporate marketing events team, you'll be creating and helping to support a broad spectrum of events for everyone from technologists to executives. As a Marketing Events Manager, your primary role will be building an event strategy for specific events, owning all the details from pre-event creation, event execution, and post event wrap up. You'll wear a lot of hats, with a new challenge every day. We thrive in a fast paced environment, so buckle up! You will work closely with the Global Event Marketing team, supporting both their internal and external clients around the world to determine what the needs are for upcoming events, and projects related to those events.

What you'll own:
  • Crafting a strategy for specific domestic and international event series.
  • Leading the research & recommendation of where we host the event(s).
  • Responsible for the creation of the logistics plan and timeline for the event(s).
  • Build the event execution strategy, including the outlined management of all resources, including people.
  • Crafting the budget allocation for the event, manage the full spend on the event, including the contracting and procurement process, and post-event budget reconciliation.
  • Direct cross functional team workflows
  • You will also be involved in areas of ownership and activation for: annual technologist/influencer event as well as our annual executive conference, our revenue organization kick off and large sponsored/trade event activations.
  • Travel- willing to travel 25% of the time both domestically and possibly internationally

Experience you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience or more in events or events management
  • Program management experience is a huge plus.
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Communications writing experience
  • Complete Google Cloud suite proficiency
  • Budget management experience
