Job Summary

Xfinity is searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Events Specialist with a 'can-do' attitude to assist with events. The Marketing Events Specialist will be tasked with creating and maintaining an event calendar for all markets in the Big South Region, spreadsheets of vendors and event coordinators, maintaining all invoices and associated expenses and coordinating the development and distribution of all marketing collateral. The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills and excellent time-management.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a user-friendly calendar of events for all markets and individual sales team members
  • Create and maintain a database of all event coordinators, event execution details and vendors
  • Create and maintain a tracking list of all Xfinity-branded assets, along with instruction on set-up and sign-in and out procedures.
  • Create and update marketing flyers, postcards, doorhangers and more based on new offers and needs for each event sales rep.
  • Maintain online booking landing pages for each event sales rep and create materials that direct customers to their contact information as leave behinds.
  • Track and maintain an expense tracking form, saving all invoices and contracts, coordinating payments for events and associated expenses.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of all Xfinity Event related materials, ordering new items that are low in quantity and working with Marketing Manager to update materials as appropriate.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Coordinating all required permits, licenses and paperwork for event locations
  • Helps to create reporting to measure success of Marketing programs.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Ability to work an adjusted work schedule, including evening/weekend hours, in order to prep and/or attend marketing events
  • Promotes and maintains a high standard of service excellence at all times

    Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Proven experience developing, implementing and managing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and on-site personnel
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
