Marketing Finance Enablement Specialist

The Marketing Finance Enablement Specialist is responsible for supporting department-wide operational functions such as budgeting, policies and procedures, department-wide reporting for the Marketing Department and the Client Development Department. The Marketing Finance Enablement Specialist must be an efficient and process-oriented self-starter. This position also requires a client-focused, service-oriented mentality.
What You Will Do:
Budget
Work with the Manager, Marketing Finance Enablement and budget owners, to manage department-wide budgets for departmental spends.
- Track and update monthly actual expenses against budgets, and produce dashboards and reports by department, business unit and function.
- Facilitate the mid-year and year-end forecasts to prepare and distribute budget worksheets, as well as to collect and consolidate budget information from budget owners.
Policies and Procedures
Work with the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations in ensuring that Marketing Department and Client Development Department policies and procedures are current and adhere to firm, client and ethics requirements. Review and recommend changes; draft new policies and procedures as needed.
Serve as support contact for certain Marketing Department intranet pages.
- Ensure that current policies and procedures are current and easily located
- Provide easy access to key marketing materials and databases
- Ensure that all content is engaging, informative and up to date
Contract Management
Serve as department lead for contract internal review process. Coordinate legal review and contract execution of all Marketing and Client Development contracts.
Operational Efficiency Projects
Work with Senior Manager, Marketing Operations to develop and/or formalize documentation of department processes on an as needed basis.
Who You Are:
- BA, BS in finance or business field preferred
- 4+ years working in a professional services environment in operations, marketing or finance
- Strong experience in Excel,
- Experience in business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) a plus.
- Exceptional project management, communication, organizational and business analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Quick learner and self-starter who is detail oriented, independent, creative and dependable.
- Adapts to new technology and can apply new technology in new and creative ways.
- Client-service oriented
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting best practices.
