There are some positions at MVP where your work may require an onsite or community component. When working in an MVP office and/or in the community on behalf of MVP, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and have received the first booster dose within one month of eligibility.

MVP Is looking for an experienced leader for our design and creative services team. This collaborative team is responsible for creation of brand, member facing and performance marketing assets including print collateral, ads, direct mail, interactive digital documents, signage, and elements of design.

The leader generates big ideas while also guiding all projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. But at the same time is in the trenches doing design work along with the team.

We are looking for five to eight years of industry experience. Top candidates will have a strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools. Experience performing or managing a range of creative positions, such as graphic designer, art director and copywriter, is important. Expert knowledge of the business side of design is a major plus.

We are looking for a candidate with stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project-management skills. Someone who has polished soft skills that enable them to inspire creativity and work well with variety of stakeholders all - all while juggling various projects.

Duties include:

  • Lead and direct the creative team (of 2) in the production of all marketing collateral
  • Manage the creative process from solutioning concept to completion
  • Consume marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
  • Oversee deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
  • Manage and cultivate staff designers

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.

Minimum Experience:

Five to eight years of design experience, management experience a plus, health care experience a plus

Ideal candidate will have experience designing for B2B, B2C, and internal audiences

Must provide a link to a portfolio of relevant design samples

Required Skills:

  • Experience creating visually compelling branded marketing and advertising collateral, website, printed materials, digital advertising, and internal communications
  • Examples of work demonstrating strong typography and color usage, carrying out brand standards across all media
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively concept both independently and with a team, from the sketch phase to execution, to communicate and present your ideas to internal stakeholders
  • Commitment to approaching projects and team members with a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and culture.
  • Ability to project manage workflows and keep partners informed of status and pertinent roadblocks while approaching challenges with solution-oriented thinking.
  • Ability to collaborate with other designers and agencies to employ visual consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive projects to conclusion with minimal supervision and a high degree of flexibility.
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with demonstrated proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced in print production and press checks.
  • Experience in video editing a plus.
  • Proficient with PC platforms.
