Marketing Graphic Designer
Job Description
RSVLTS is hiring a Marketing Graphic Designer with the talent of Pam from The Office (honestly, maybe more talent than Pam) and the ability to navigate through projects like Maverick in a fighter jet. If that sounds like you, then read further.
Our creative department is growing fast. We need a graphic designer to help build the marketing campaigns and overall brand aesthetic for our licensed apparel products (think Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, etc.). Our ideal candidate is a proactive and energetic creative who’s willing to take any requests thrown at them. Instagram ads? Sure. Emails? You know it. Icons, stickers, or a big logo of Ron Swanson’s face? Oh f*** yeah.
This is an in-house position, you must be able to work out of RSVLTS HQ at least three days per week (but it’s a fun office, we have snacks and a couch and sometimes we watch movies while we work).
To apply: Submit your portfolio and resume.
So, what would your day look like?
- Design, design design. You’ll be making ads, social posts, emails, and all the fun stuff you can think of.
- Work with and support senior team members with all parts of the campaign process: defining strategy, concepting ideas, content development, etc.
- Help plan and execute photoshoots
- Maintain our design and brand standards as we grow into new markets, ad platforms, partnerships, and product verticals
What you bring to the table
- Design chops. Seems obvious, but we need a designer with strong design, typography, and layout instincts
- Socially fluent. We have content running on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Google, Snap, Pinterest, etc.
- The extras. Illustration, video editing, or motion experience would be ideal.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative environment. We’re constantly shouting ideas at each other and testing things on the fly
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years graphic design experience
- Degree in Design, Visual Communications, Fine Art, Advertising, or related
- Experience in video editing would be a huge plus
- Adobe Suite expertise - Photoshop and Illustrator especially
- A kickass portfolio
- Knowledge of current and upcoming social platforms
- Agency experience is not necessary but a strongly preferred
- A keen interest in pop culture
What we bring to the table
- Competitive compensation package
- Benefits, including: flexible vacation, health care, dental, vision, 401K
- A fast-paced, but casual and fun work environment with a group of smart, determined, cool-as-hell people
- You’ll be an important member of a growing creative team
- Autonomy. If you want to do something fun, do it.
- We have a TMNT arcade game, sometimes we watch stuff like Star Wars or The Sandlot while we work, and we have a lifetime supply of Big League Chew in the office
About RSVLTS
There’s a serious demand for fun clothing based on sports and pop culture. The issue is that most of the apparel in this realm is unlicensed, leading to low production quality. RSVLTS, founded in Hoboken, New Jersey, turned a crushing cease and desist from a major movie studio into a licensing partnership. That one partnership was then spun into partnerships with all major movie studios, the WWE, NASA, and more. If you can think of it, we probably have it. Combining officially licensed designs with high-quality clothing, we’ve created a uniquely rad concept that our rabid, growing fanbase can’t buy up fast enough.
