Summary of Position

Nexon America is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team for the 2024 summer internship program. The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team in the execution of day-to-day operations across all channels with a primary focus on paid media. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and gain hands on experience with all aspects of marketing in the gaming vertical. This role will consist of assisting in setting up, optimizing, and executing digital media campaigns across the PC, Mobile, and Console. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in supporting various tasks related to campaign execution, working with external agency partners, internal teams and being able to support onboarding, maintenance, optimization, tracking and reporting for multiple campaigns.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

The target start date for the internship program is 6/10 (40 hours/week) and the duration of the internship will vary between 8-12 weeks depending on the role.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and preparation of marketing campaigns

• Assist in the onboarding and execution of marketing campaigns primarily focused on paid media

• Assist in campaign maintenance and optimization and/or agency/vendor management in support of campaign execution

• Support work with cross-functional teams with managing schedules, marketing operational tasks including communication, vendor coordination, asset management, as well as supporting marketing events

• Support in the day-to-day execution and gain experience in marketing disciplines outside of paid media when applicable

• Other duties as assigned
  

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Anthropology/Sociology or a related field

Knowledge/Skills

• Basic understanding of marketing and branding principles

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms

• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment

• Comfortable with data analysis

Documentation Needed (i.e., art portfolio, coding portfolio)

• Resume and Cover Letter
• Not required but previous examples of digital media work (Paid social, Search etc.) a plus

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $18.00 - $20.00 hourly.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position.
