We Are Brookfield Properties:

We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York, NY. In this role, you will play a key part in inspiring change and continual improvement. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to participate in our 10-week long Summer 2024 internship program within the office and retail marketing team. The qualified candidate will work with the department's marketing team on initiatives related to both B2B and B2C office and retail marketing for our New York properties.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and execution of marketing plans, including strategies for social media, print and digital materials, timelines, post-event recaps and analysis across office and retail marketing teams
• Leverage data to audit and analyze the success of marketing efforts and provide recommendations for improvement
• Attend department marketing meetings and be an active participant in the development of campaign strategies and implementation
• Research potential opportunities, activations, trends, and partners to enhance e-mail marketing, promotions around events, social media efforts, etc.
• Create key photo selects library per building to be used in collateral
• Copywriting and editing content for web, social media, e-mails, and other marketing materials
• Manage various marketing tasks which include reviewing and preparing marketing materials, assisting with event management, liaising with vendors and advertising/social media agencies, as well as other duties as assigned
• Administrative tasks such as filing documents, proofreading, organizing files and managing inventory
• Work on a mutually agreed upon capstone project and present to a larger group at the end of the internship

Your Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an interest in marketing, marketing analytics, and/or events and social media
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Superb writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Working knowledge of the NYC Real Estate industry a plus
• Thorough knowledge of social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
• Ability to review data, draw conclusions and articulate recommendations for improved marketing strategies
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a can-do attitude
• Thrives in a fast-paced office environment, can meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent PC skills; advanced to expert in using Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with many departments
• Detail-oriented, fresh, and creative thinker
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other design programs a plus
• Experience with Monday.com and/or project management software a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Non-exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $25/Hour
