Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a companywide resource that defines key activities (for pools & hot tubs) by month for the sunbelt and winter belt regions leveraging readily available resources.
  • Conduct a competitive social channel review, capturing how designated brands embrace and promote diversity and inclusion, ultimately recommending Leslie's best practices for Facebook and Instagram.
  • Capture the sales cadence of identified competitors with supporting creative to help inform future promotional planning.
  • Assist in the seasonal planning process by identifying relevant dates for Leslie's go-to-market calendar through 2023.
  • Develop a content repository of the top 25 products to create long-form, short-form, bullet point, copy excerpts, and competitors as a resource for all marketing channels.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support identified omnichannel marketing efforts from inception through execution.
  • Review designated customer communications across multiple platforms, providing recommended updates, reaching alignment on revisions, and executing requested changes.
  • Help create and deploy specific customer experience touchpoints, including in-store signage, retail radio, and other tactics.
  • Support company programs including Algae-Free, Rewards, Equipment Protection, and Endless Aisle.
  • Assist with capturing and resolving social posts naming Leslie's.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • A recent graduate looking to gain marketing experience, someone working towards an MBA, or an individual in the process of earning a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or another related field.
  • Future desire to work in marketing, social, research, operations, Customer Experience, Creative, Communications or similar role.
  • Ability to work rapidly, accurately, and independently under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
