Summary:
BRG is looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who will be responsible for developing, project managing, and executing corporate and cross-firm marketing and communications initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. The manager should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategizing, strive under tight deadlines and be able to adapt and remain flexible to changing demands and situations.
Major Responsibilities/ Job Functions:
Management, Project Management, and Strategy
- Develop strategic marketing plans/programs/campaigns
- Lead projects from identification of project goals and objectives through completion: establishing timeline(s), estimating budgets, and creating implementation plan(s)
- Communicate with and coordinate team and stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and monitor progress of project to ensure anticipated goals are met to satisfactory completion
- Manage marketing coordinator(s): monitor work quality and workload, provide direction/training, and assist in career development
- Manage relationships with a range of vendors.
Technology
- Utilize and help continually refine team's use of Marketing technology including CRM, project management tools, Microsoft suite including Teams, SharePoint, website content management systems, social media related tools, etc.
- Assist with CRM data quality efforts
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws
- Assist with the development of documentation and execution of training programs
- Perform advanced/complex CRM data searches based on criteria, segmentation, and list population
- Provide hands on guidance and support with our mailing platform: Vuture and CRM platform: InterAction to marketing team and other internal stakeholders
Digital Marketing
- Contribute to overall social media approach and policy for the firm
- Ensure optimal social media presence and effectiveness for key business areas and specific campaigns
- Incorporate a strong digital marketing element to all marketing campaigns and activity
- Develop online campaigns and update/design/create related website pages.
Thought Leadership, Content Marketing & PR
- Plan and execute thought leadership and other content-based campaigns across multiple channels
- Help plan and deliver market positioning programs including advertising, customized materials and print and electronic communications.
Events
- Help manage/oversee firm events (online and offline), conferences, and sponsorships.
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors:
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years B2B marketing experience, strong preference for this to be within professional services (at least some of it). 5 years is the absolute minimum for a very strong performer.
- Excellent project management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to lead/participate in a cross-functional project team and/or lead or assist in the delivery of multiple projects
- Skilled in effectively working with senior level management and leadership
- Ability to think "big picture" and understand in a detailed and thorough manner the key trends and levers that drive the business
- Experience with a CRM platform
- Expertise in data analysis and reporting; ability to trend, interpret information, and communicate meaningful information effectively.
- Business analysis expertise and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal presentation; copywriting skills an advantage
- Visual presentation design including very strong PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Strong track record in business-to-business marketing - ideally in professional services - with in-depth experience across the marketing mix
- Marketing/related qualification preferred but not essential
- Excellent project management skills and experience
- Event management experience/expertise
- Strong digital marketing experience/understanding
- Keeps up-to-date with industry and marketing trends
- Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies and solutions.
Salary Range: $85,000-$120,000
