We are looking for a Marketing Manager with 5+ years of professional marketing experience to join our high-performing team. This multifaceted role will enable you to flex your marketing strengths across a broad range of assignments and projects, driving business goals and shaping integrated advertising and marketing campaigns.
In this critical position, you will support the Senior Manager, Marketing Campaigns in meticulously managing the execution of both digital and print assets, ensuring that all projects hit their deliverable deadlines. You will be pivotal in managing day-to-day residential and small business marketing efforts, creating robust lead generation strategies, and driving sales for our premier energy brands. Candidates with expertise in marketing technology, marketing automation, and/or Customer Data Platforms (CDP) will find this role particularly rewarding.
This highly visible role offers the platform to collaborate with a myriad of internal groups and teams, enriching your professional network and enhancing your career trajectory. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and/or project management with at least 2 years' experience in managing a team. Familiarity with Adobe Workfront is preferred.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal clients and creative agency to develop, guide, and manage on-brand marketing projects. This includes understanding initiatives, developing briefs, setting timelines and milestones, and upholding the internal creative process.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and the creative agency. Present creative assets for review, collate feedback, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Proactively mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and take corrective actions as necessary. Demonstrate a solutions-oriented approach and recommend ways to optimize processes and address issues as they arise.
- Utilize our project management system for efficient resource allocation, project initiation, and timeline setting. Ensure all projects are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Identify research opportunities and key metrics, analyze campaign performance trends, and provide actionable insights for future campaigns.
- Proactively develop and recommend new targeting and segmentation ideas to enhance direct marketing and email marketing sales results while also working to expand direct marketing channels.
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies to successfully plan and execute consumer and business marketing campaigns. This involves evaluating market research, testing new creative concepts, and ensuring new customer acquisition goals are met.
- Collaborate with the analytics team and utilize analytics tools to ensure all campaigns are tracked appropriately for performance optimization.
- Create dynamic and insightful presentation and communication materials for executive audiences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid, 3 days in Houston office.
- Open office environment.
- Some overtime required as special projects arise.
- Day travel and some overnight stays.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in marketing and/or project management.
- 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Experience working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple departments, projects, and deadlines.
- Experience managing vendors and external agency resources.
- Strong analytical background.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with direct marketing, leading data-driven and omnichannel marketing success.
- Adobe Workfront experience.
- Service and/or Smart Home Technologies Industry experience (energy, mortgage, insurance, credit card, internet, telephone, security, and/or delivery services).

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, bending, sitting, reaching, standing, manual dexterity may be necessary.
