ExamFX, a division of Ascend Learning, helps insurance and financial services companies license their employees. They are the industry leader in online training and assessment for Professional Pre-Licensing in Insurance and Securities exams.

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Ascend Learning is searching for a Marketing Manager to work with their ExamFX business unit. This position will:

  • Support the development of the marketing strategy and execute corresponding tactics for ExamFX.

  • Create customer communications, including but not limited to, performance marketing, social media, blogs, website content, and email.

  • Design and implement email strategy to customers and prospects, including content, design, and list management.

  • Track and analyze direct and interactive marketing campaigns and use statistical analysis of best results to inform creation of new campaigns.
  • Report on campaign metrics and trends on a monthly & quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate the development, production and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support marketing and sales programs. Manage tradeshow and event registration process.

  • Establish and ensure consistent image through product lines, promotional materials, websites, and events.
  • Work cross-functionally to build operational efficiencies to reach more audiences, grow revenue, and increase loyalty.

Minimum Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • 3-5 years of related professional experience in marketing.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Competency with Adobe creative production software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other creative development tools strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement social media strategies.
  • Ability to think strategically and make strong judgments about marketing effectiveness.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver results in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Sitefinity, Salesforce and HubSpot a plus
