Description
- Work with the Vice President of Marketing Business Development to create, manage and oversee marketing programs that positively project the business's brand image to support and grow sales.
- Coordinate and maintain a 52 Week Marketing Calendar for all communications and marketing efforts for BloomNet and its subsidiaries and brands.
- Collaborate with the channel leaders for all BloomNet subsidiaries and brands to identify area of marketing support and/or promotional efforts required to grow sales and increase membership of the BloomNet network.
- Make creative presentations and propose innovative solutions to manager and senior management team.
- Effective capture business requirements and translate them into Creative Project Requests.
- Submit requests for new or updates to existing Creative projects, manage schedules, edits/approvals, and timelines to ensure projects deliverables are met in a timely manner and within Creative guidelines and budgets.
- Oversee the design and production of print/electronic marketing materials to support corporate identity, sales, products services, and tradeshows which include but are not limited to brochures, catalogs, print advertisements, direct mailings, email marketing campaigns, social media, blogs, web banners, promotional materials, FSI's, statement stuffers, logos, signage, catalogs, packaging, labels/tags.
- Review product proofs both internally and pre-press. Supervise on press projects, attend on press for approval as requested.
- Serve as website administrator, conducting website updates, manage forms, assist in website updates and design, coordinate with third-party vendors/agencies.
- Set up, test, schedule daily email campaigns and manage email lists.
- Manage and prepare reporting for sales promotion and email marketing.
- Coordinate with Creative Designers/Agency, Freelancers, Supplies Vendors for project assignments, workflow, schedules, quotes, and final deliverables.
- Attend photo shoots to oversee creative direction and styling.
- Facilitate print project quotes, track pricing history, and present project pricing and recommendations which are aligned with budgeted expenses.
- Evaluate current processes and opportunities for cost saving solutions.
- Take ownership for assigned projects from inception to delivery.
- Participate in regularly scheduled production and department meetings.
- Effectively communicate project updates and milestones to project participants and BloomNet team members.
- Must continually develop skill set to keep up with changing technology, social, digital landscape and market trends.
- Attend continuing education programs in the areas of digital, advertising creative design to bring latest industry knowledge in-house.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Floral experience a plus.
Requirements
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing Business Development
Education Required: Bachelor's degree and/or work experience in marketing.
Skills Required: Strong interpersonal and organizations skills. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, WordPress, Constant Contact, SalesForce or similar CRM.
Experience Required: At least 5-10 years experience in a marketing agency or corporation.
