Overview:


An affiliate of Chatham Financial, Union Square Capital Partners (USQ) is focused on providing investment solutions to the RIA channel. Our platform is the result of unique expertise and experience across fixed income and real estate.


The USQ team is seeking an organized and results driven Marketing Manager. This role will plan, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, generate leads, and nurture audience engagement. The Marketing Manager interfaces with and pulls together client-facing and centralized Marketing team efforts to produce results-oriented campaigns.


In this role you will:

  • Plan and execute campaigns. Translate business objectives into contained marketing campaigns. Gather required resources (people, content, budget) and ensure all stakeholders are moving in unison.
  • Create impactful content. Research, write, and publish various forms of content. Repurpose, distribute, and promote through various channels. Experiment with underutilized mediums and iterate on successes.
  • Track results. Set KPI goals at the onset, and report on them during and post-campaign. Continually recommend improvements based on past performance and new learnings.
  • Meet compliance standards. Recognize regulation parameters and ensure that our messaging stays within bounds.

This role has the opportunity to affect USQ’s reach into key audience sets by touching new contacts/companies and increasing engagement with existing clients through marketing channels. Integrated into both market segment-deployed and centralized Marketing teams, this role has exposure to many parts of the business and will have a direct impact on USQ’s growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in marketing or a related field
  • Strong communication and project management skills, and high attention to detail
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)


Preferred skills:

  • B2B experience is preferred. Experience working in professional services, B2B financial services, or other regulated industries is a plus. Background at an agency or a corporate marketing team is also a plus.
  • Copywriting/editing
  • Content marketing
  • Conference marketing
  • Familiarity with FINRA advertising compliance preferred


Preferred systems experience:

  • Experience with project management software, such as Asana or Monday.
  • Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with marketing automation systems, such as Pardot, Hubspot, or Marketo.
  • Experience with content management systems, such as CraftCMS or Wordpress.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Twitter and LinkedIn).

  • Have a proven ability to find creative solutions to challenges and take actions that lead to results. An eye toward keeping up on trends and general marketing knowledge and looking to apply those trends is encouraged.
  • Effectively communicate, present, and defend concepts to stakeholders while balancing that with business needs and an open mind to new perspectives and feedback.
  • Hands-on understanding of tracking, reporting, and performance measurement is required. Using insights to inform and continually improve performance is the ultimate goal.
