THE ROLE
In this role, you are responsible for managing marketing projects to fulfill marketing strategies and using market intelligence to influence changes in marketing directions. You are a self-starter with strong project management skills and a keen attention to detail. You love to solve problems, big and small, you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and you approach every challenge head-on. QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) years related experience (marketing, brand management, advertising placement, promotions development)
- Music industry & multi-cultural marketing preferred
- Able to implement marketing strategies based on data and analytics
- Experience creating changes in a variety of platforms to drive engagement & loyalty
- Able to analyze the ROI for projects
- Able to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams facilitating flexibility while maintaining strong attention to details and problem solving
- Use Excel & PowerPoint, Photoshop, CRM systems
- Working knowledge of web analytics tools is preferred
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
YOU WILL MANAGE MARKETING PROJECTS BY:
- Creating marketing strategies and campaigns that are based on we/user data and market/business needs
- Executing marketing strategies effectively and efficiently so that multiple projects are managed simultaneously and results are achieved; at times requiring quick turn around of requirements and long lead times
- Managing the relationship(s) with research agencies to conduct market research, design experiments, run conversion rate optimization tests and align content with target audience needs
- Managing the relationship(s) with advertising agencies to ensure ad content is aligned with marketplace messages, and ad purchases & deliverables are monitored for accuracy
- Developing and maintaining marketing collateral, case studies, decks, and other marketing and business assets; insuring brand identity across all materials & channels
YOU WILL LEAD AND EXECUTE CRITICAL MARKETING PROCESSES BY:
- Developing creative content as needed
- Writing and editing copy using The MLC style guide and your expertise on user behavior
- Developing and tracking KPIs related to the performance of marketing strategies and advertisements; including proactively communicating project status and risks.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to make recommendations
YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE EXPERTISE BY:
- The use of strong UX and SEO principles
- Staying current with marketing trends
- Gaining a business knowledge of The MLC and its Members
- Integrating The MLC mission and principles in communication strategies
- Collaborating easily with a broad range of audiences; including songwriters, Publishers and MLC team
